Guided Fishing in Scotland for Atlantic Salmon
For over 15000 years the Atlantic Salmon has been a prized quarry. In Scotland, Salmon fishing is the sport of Kings.
Spey Casting and fishing the fly for salmon in the mighty Rivers Tweed, River Tay, River Spey and River Dee can be simply a bucket list wish for most anglers. Alba Game Fishing can help you realise your dreams, and guide you on some of the best salmon fishing rivers in Scotland.

If you are coming to Scotland from overseas, there is absolutely no need to bring heavy gear with you. This only increases your luggage weight and the risk of losing precious gear in transit. Furthermore, waders and boots that have been worn outside of Scotland need to be thoroughly sterilised, and dried prior to wearing in a Scottish river. This is because of the risk of transferring water born parasites, such as Gyrodactalus Salaris. We carry a huge stock of Orvis breathable stocking foot waders, in both mens and women’s sizes. We also stock Orvis wading boots, with Vibram soles and tungsten studs. Don’t worry about sizes, we even have three pairs of size 15 boots!
Fishing Tackle – A game changer?
We pride ourselves on using the very best salmon fishing tackle. We will arm you with a Scott Mackenzie double hand spey rod. We also carry everything from 11ft 4 switch rods, to 15 foot double hand rods. In addition we have the superb Orvis Mission rods, these are simply superb, and the best salmon rod Orvis has ever made. You can try them with us on one of our fly fishing trips.
Everything is provided for your fishing day, Orvis, Scott Mackenzie and Sage double hand fly rods, breathable waders and boots in all sizes.
