One hour from Edinburgh, The River Tweed and Teviot are two of the finest grayling rivers in Europe.
Fishing is mainly nymphing techniques, Euronymphing, occasionally dry fly if a hatch is on.
We use Sage ESN rods and ESN reels, usually 2 and 3 weights.
We also carry Orvis Clearwater 2 weights and Redington Strike rods.
All nymphs are tied by a Scottish International Fly Fishing Team member
All flies tied by our expert Scottish Grayling guides.
Your fishing guide will be focused and dedicated to you and/or your guests.

Scotland has some of Europe’s finest Grayling fishing on the River Tweed system. Without doubt, the River Tweed offers an opportunity to catch a real specimen Grayling. The Grayling is the fourth game fish and sometimes referred to as the lady of the stream. We fish a variety of methods, including Nymphing, Dry Fly, Dry Dropper and Euronymphing. Moreover you will enjoy fishing private beats of Scotland’s River Tweed, amidst stunning scenery.

The River Tweed is one of the finest grayling rivers in Europe with 2lb + fish commonplace and 3lb + specimens every season to our guests rods. Grayling can be caught all year. However it peaks from October to end of February. Furthermore, we leave the Grayling alone in March to Spawn.
The River Tweed, is 97 miles (156km) long and one of the best rivers in Scotland. The River is set in stunning scenery, and you can enjoy world class grayling fishing. In fact some of the best fly fishing in Scotland, only 50 minutes from Edinburgh City Centre and 2 hours from Glasgow.
The River Tweed has a diverse fish population of trout, sea trout, grayling and salmon. Furthermore, when the main river is in spate, there are excellent tributaries to target. Such as the River Teviot, Ettrick, Leader and Whiteadder. The River Teviot is one of the best grayling rivers in Scotland, and joins the Tweed at the world famous Junction Pool in Kelso.
Firstly, you can be collected from your hotel by your guide, a day normal runs from 08:30 to 17:30. However we are flexible with timings.
We provide everything you need. Meanwhile, you can try the fantastic Sage ESN 10ft 2 weight and the 10ft 6 inch 3 weight ESN grayling nymphing rods. In addition, you’ll use nymphs tied by a Scotland Fly Fishing Team member. In addition we carry a huge stock of quality Orvis Breathable waders and tungsten studded boots.
Finally, your guide will be on your shoulder all day and will help you ready the river, point you to where the fish are and give tips on the techniques. Likewise, when you need solitude you can just enjoy the river.
