Luxury accommodation overlooking Loch Tay
Firstly, Stucktaymore offers 13 luxury ensuite bedrooms, to accommodate 29 people. Additionally, all of the rooms offer king sized beds. Also, there is one twin room, and three rooms offering triple occupancy. Moreover, the spacious luxurious kitchen has an AGA and breakfast room leading off. Stucktaymore is available for catered or self-catered accommodation.
The Dining table seats 26 people. There are some local restaurant recommendations for guests, or they may with to arrange a Chef for part of whole of your stay.
The large stone built ‘Snug’ room with a beautiful open fire, is perfect to relax over a dram of your favourite Malt. The Library also hosts an open fire, and is ideal to relax and read a book or play one of our selection of board games.
Entertainment and Activities at Stucktaymore
Stucktaymore has a media and entertainment room with a superb 80’ inch screen TV. There is a DVD player and full sky package. For gamers, there is an Xbox. On the same level is the Games room with pool table leading to a bar area with views out to the lower Terrace for outdoor seating and dining. This level also hosts the 7 seater hot tub all overlooking Loch Tay.
Fishing and sporting activities in the area
Stucktaymore is an ideal stop off, on our mixed fishing and touring vacations of Scotland. The river Tay and Tummel are approximately 40 minutes drive from the house. There is also much to see and do in the Perthshire area.
Kayaks can be hired nearby and if you fancy mountain biking, this is a paradise.
Stucktaymore makes an ideal sporting lodge as well as a family retreat. Shooting and deer stalking can be arranged.
Stucktaymore is ideally located for switching to the west coast of Scotland. This can be done via a scenic, and dramatic drive through Glencoe.
