Glencoe is one of Scotland’s most beautiful, dramatic and imperious landscapes. The rugged wild scenery has been used as a backdrop in many famous movies. The mountains are a photographers dream. Apart from the hill walking, and incredible scenery, there is an abundance of great fishing in this area too.
Glencoe House is a converted Victorian mansion, offering luxury accommodation. There are 14 sumptuous suites, all with varying views to the beautiful landscape and gardens surrounding the house. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. From your welcome to the hotel with a glass of Champagne, to organising an in house massage, or in room dining.
The hotel is spacious and rooms are well equipped, free wi-fi, Nespresso coffee machines, books, games and DVD’s, in case you need to stop staring at the views. Some of the suites have terraces and hot-tubs, from which the views are breathtaking.

On the route of our main West Coast Hidden Gems tour and close to a vast fishing portfolio, offering a huge variety and range of experiences. To the south of Glencoe, the scenic River Orchy and Awe are both excellent salmon rivers, that echo the tradition of salmon fishing in Scotland. If you are interested in targeting large Ferox Brown Trout, Loch Awe holds the current UK record and fishes well particularly in the spring. To the North fo Glencoe, you have the famous River Lochy, jewel of salmon fishing in Scotland. The river Garry should not be missed either. Further west, there are some of Scotland?s finest trout lochs, Loch Arkaig, Garry, Quoich and Morar, not only offer fantastic scenery, but the chance to catch some of the biggest wild brown trout in Scotland.
