Kingsmuir House is a lovingly restored Victorian House in the picturesque market town of Peebles, in the Scottish Borders, 40 minutes south of Edinburgh and next to the the River Tweed. There are two wonderful suites in this property, with Super King sized beds(The Bonnington Suite able to be split into singles). Both suites are spacious and have relaxing lounge areas and en suite bathrooms. Accommodation here is stylish, comfortable and the levels of service enabled the owners to win the Thistle Awards National Winner of the best Bed and Breakfast in Scotland, as well as 5 star “Gold” status from VisitScotland and the AA.
This is a property where you won’t find boxes of cereal beside the breakfast table, the levels of detail and the food are excellent. Kingsmuir rarely offers dinner, but the breakfasts are superb and there are many great restaurants within walking distance of the house.
Malcolm the owner is very well connected, and able to pull rabbits out of hats with his advice, contacts and knowledge of the area, and will happily help with table reservations.
The award winning Kingsmuir House is an ideal bed and breakfast for guided fishing in the Borders area, we have a team of guides available to deliver fishing days on the River Tweed for salmon, sea trout, trout, and grayling. In addition there is a superb private loch nearby, offering some of the best pike fishing in Scotland.
